Sacramento Kings News

  Today, my blog is going to be about Sacramento Kings News.  This season, the Sacramento Kings didn't make the NBA playoffs.  Even though they have the best big man in the league, Demarcus Cousins, their season didn't pan out.  There are now rumors that the Kings are looking to trade him.  It's too bad that Demarcus Cousins has a bad attitude.  Currently, the Kings are looking for a new head coach.  Their current head coach is , George Karl.  They are interviewing NBA Hall of Famer, Patrick Ewing and Mark Jackson.  This season, the Kings finished with a record of 33-49.  Hopefully, next season the Kings will make the Playoffs and have a chance to win an NBA Championship.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about Sacramento Kings News.

Los Angeles Lakers News

  Today, my blog is going to be about Los Angeles Lakers News.  Today, the Lakers signed a new head coach.  They signed, Luke Walton.  Luke Walton is a former Laker player.  The Lakers recently fired their old head coach, Byron Scott.  For the past seasons, the Lakers haven't been doing too good.  This season, they finished with a record of 17-65.  Next season, the Lakers will be playing without their star player, Kobe Bryant.  Kobe played with the Lakers for 20 seasons.  Kobe Bryant is known to be one of the Greatest Basketball Players of All Time.  The good news is, that the Lakers have a lot of young players that will develop into All-Stars.  On their roster, they have upcoming stars, such as Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russel.  Hopefully, next season the Lakers will play better.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about Los Angeles Lakers News.

Golden State Warriors News

  Today, my blog is going to be about Golden State Warriors News.  The Golden State Warriors advanced to the second round in the NBA playoffs yesterday.  In the first round, they played the Houston Rockets.  They won the series 4-1.  In game 4, Stephen Curry got injured.  He slipped on a play and sprained his MCL.  He is going to be out for the next 2 weeks.  In game 4, the Warriors broke the record for the most three pointers made by a team in a single game.  They had scored 21 three pointers.  The good news is, without Stephen Curry, the Warriors are still great.   On their roster, they have three All-Stars in total.  They have Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.  Hopefully, the Warriors can win another Championship this year.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about Golden State Warriors News.

Los Angeles Clippers News

  Today, my blog is going to be about Los Angeles Clippers News.  There is positive and negative news.  I'll start with the positive.  Currently, the Clippers are in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.  They are playing the Portland Trail Blazers.  The series is tied at 2-2.  The Negative news is that both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are both out for the rest of the Playoffs with injuries.  Chris Paul has a fracture in his hand.  Blake Griffin tweaked his left quad.  Even though the Clippers are going to miss their two key players, I still think they might have a chance at winning a title.  They have one of the best shooters in the league, J.J Redick, and one of the most tough guys, Deandre Jordan.  Hopefully the Clippers can overcome these injuries and have a chance to win an NBA Championship.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles Clippers.

Los Angeles Sparks

  Today, my blog is going to be about the Los Angeles Sparks.  The Los Angeles Spark are a professional women's basketball team, that is based in Los Angeles, CA.  The Sparks play all of their home games at the Staples Center.  They play in the Western Conference and have won two Championships.  Currently, the Sparks are owned by one of the greatest NBA players ever, Magic Johnson.  Previously, the Lakers owner Jerry Buss, had owned them from 1997-2006.  The Sparks team colors are purple, gold, and teal.  Some of the greatest players that ever played on the Sparks were Lisa Leslie and Candace Parker.  Hopefully, this upcoming season the Sparks will win another championship.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles Sparks.

Bakersfield Jam

  Today, my blog is going to be about the Bakersfield Jam.  The Bakersfield Jam are a developmental basketball team that is based in Bakersfield, CA.  The Jam play all of their home games at the Dignity Health Center.  They are owned by the Phoneix Suns.  Even though they are owned by the Phoneix Suns, they are still based in California.  Their team colors are navy blue, gold, white, and red.  They have never won an NBA D-League Championship.  Basketball players play on developmental teams because they are hoping, that they will get called up by an NBA team.  Once players get called up to an NBA team, they have a chance to prove they should have a role on the team.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Bakersfield Jam.

Santa Cruz Warriors

  Today, my blog is going to be about the Santa Cruz Warriors.  The Santa Cruz Warriors are a developmental basketball team.  They are owned by the Golden State Warriors, who are a NBA team.  The Santa Cruz Warriors play their home games at the Kaiser Permanente Arena.  The Santa Cruz Warriors weren't always known as the Warriors.  They were known as the Dakota Wizards from 1995-2012.   Their team colors are blue, yellow, and white.The Santa Cruz Warriors have won one NBA D-League Championship under the name of the Warriors.  Currently, their head coach is Casey Hill.  Hopefully, the Santa Cruz Warriors will have many of their players called up to the NBA.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Santa Cruz Warriors.

  Today, my blog is going to be about the Los Angeles D-Fenders.  The D-Fenders are a developmental basketball team that is owned by the Los Angeles Lakers.  The D-Fenders play their games at the Toyota Sports Center.  The Lakers practice also practice there.  The D-Fenders were founded in 2006.  Basketball players play on the D-Fenders hoping to make an NBA roster.  The D-Fenders' team colors are purple, white, and gold.  The D-Fenders were the first developmental basketball team signed by an NBA team.  The D-Fenders haven't won a D-League championship.  They have produced the most NBA-ready talent than any other D-League team.  Currently, their head coach is Casey Owens.  Hopefully, this season the D-Fenders will win heir first D-League championship.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Pepperdine Men's Basketball

  Today, my blog is going to be about Pepperdine Men's Basketball.  Pepperdine Men's Basketball team plays all of their home games at Firestone Fieldhouse.  Firestone Fieldhouse is located in Malibu, California.  Pepperdine's baketball team's colors, are Blue and Orange.  Pepperdine has had a few of their basketball players make it to the NBA.  The names of the players that made it to the NBA are Bob O'Brien, Dennis Johnson, Doug Christie, Bird Averitt, and Brandon Armstrong.  Pepperdine's most successful NBA player was Dennis Johnson.  Dennis Johnson was a 3 time NBA champion, 5 time NBA All star, and was the MVP of the NBA Finals in 1979.  Dennis was also inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame and had his number retired by the Celtics.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about Pepperdine Men's Basketball.

San Jose Sharks

  Today, my blog is going to be about the San Jose Sharks.  The San Jose Sharks are a profesional hockey team that plays in San Jose, California.  The Sharks play all of their home games at SAP Center.  The Sharks haven't always played in San Jose.  They used to play in San Francisco, California from 1991-1993.  In San Francisco, the Sharks played at the Cow Palace.  The Sharks haven't ever won a Stanley Cup.  The Harks have had a few of their players inducted into the Hall of Fame.  The names of the players who were inducted into the Hall of Fame are Ed Belfour, Rob Blake, and Igor Larionov.  Hopefully this season the Sharks could win their first Stanley Cup.  I hope you enjoyed my blog this week about the San Jose Sharks.

USC Men's Basketball

  Today, my blog is going to be about USC Men's Basketball.  USC Men's Basketball team plays all of their home games at the Galen Center.  They didn't always play at the Galen Center.  They used to play in the Shrine Auditorium.  They later played in the Pan-Pacific Auditorium.  They finally moved to the Galen Center in 2006.  Usc plays in the Pac-12 Conference.  Their team colors are cardinal and gold.  Their nickname is the Trojans.  Many players from USC have made it to the NBA.  The names of the players that made it to the NBA are DeMar Derozan, O.J. Mayo, Nikola Vucevic, Taj GIbson, Nick Young, David Blu, Harold Miner, Brian Scalibrine, Gus Williams, Paul Westfall, Alex Hannum. UCLA Men's Basketball

  Today, my blog is going to be about UCLA Men's Basketball.  UCLA won ten national championships under Coach John Wooden.  John Wooden is known as one of the best college basketball head coaches of all time.  UCLA's nickname is the Bruins.  Their team colors are blue and gold.  UCLA has had many NBA players come from their basketball program. Some of the names of the NBA players that came from UCLA are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Reggie Miller, Bill Walton, Jamaal Wilkes, Kevin Love, and Russel Westbrook.  The Bruins play all of their home games at Pauley Pavilion.  Pauley Pavilion is located inside of UCLA's school campus.  Personally, I would like to play for the UCLA Men's Basketball team.

LA Galaxy

  Today, my blog is going to be about the LA Galaxy.  The Galaxy are a professional soccer team that is based in Los Angeles, CA.  They play all of their home games at StubHub Center.  They didn't always play in the StubHub Center.  They used to play at the Rose Bowl.  They then moved their home games to the StubHub Center in 2003.  Currently, their head coach is Bruce Arena.  The LA Galaxy are a member of the Major League Soccer, which is also known as MLS.  Galaxy has a rivalry with the San Jose Earthquakes, but they have most recently started a new rival with the Seattle Sounders FC.  Hopefully, the Galaxy do good this season.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the LA Galaxy.

San Diego Padres

  Today, my blog is going to be about the San Diego Padres.  The Padres are a professional baseball team based in San Diego, California.  The Padres play all of their home games at Petco Park.  The Padres were based in 1969.  They have made it to the World Series two times, but lost both.  The Padres play in the National League and in the West Division.  The Padres used to play in Qualcomm Stadium from 1969-2003, and then moved to Petco Park in 2004.  Their team colors are yellow, brown, light gray, blue, and white.  The Padres have also retired some of their players numbers.  The players number's that have been retired are 6, 19, 31, 35, 51, and 42.  The Padres current manager is Ron Fowler.  I hope you enjoyed my blogt today about the San Diego Padres.

Anaheim Ducks

  Today my blog is going to be about the Anaheim Ducks.  The Anaheim Ducks are a professional hockey team based in Anaheim, California.  They play all of their home games at the Honda Center.  The Ducks were founded in 1993 by The Walt Disney Company. They have won one Stanley Cup and have made it to the playoffs eleven times.  The Ducks are in the Pacific Division and the Western Conference.  Their team colors are black, gold, orange, silver, and white.  Currently, their head coach is Bruce Boudreau and their general manager is Bob Murray.  The Duclass weren't always named the Ducks.  They used to be named the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim after a Disney film, The Mighty Duck.  I hope you enjoyed my today about the Anaheim Ducks.
