Los Angeles Kings

  Today my blog is going to be about the Los Angeles Kings.  The Los Angeles Kings are our local professional hockey team.  They play all of their home games at the Staples Center.  The Kings have won two Stanley Cups in total.  The Kings were founded in 1967.  They used to play all of their home games at The Forum , until 1999 when they moved to the Staples Center.  Currently, their Captain is Dustin Brown and their head coach is Darryl Sutter.  The Kings team colors are black, silver, and white.  The Kings have had many players inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.  The names of these players are Paul Coffey, Jake Milford, Peter Demers, Bob Millet, Marcel Dionne, Larry Murphy, Dick Duff, Roger Neilson, Grant Fuhr, Bob Pulford, Wayne Gretzky, Larry Robinson, Harry Howell,  Luc Robitallie, Red Kelly, Terry Sawchuk, Brian Kilrea, Steve Shutt, Jari Kurri, Billy Smith, and Jiggs McDonald.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles Kings.

Oakland Athletics

  Today my blog is going to be about the Oakland Athletics. The Oakland Athletics are a professional baseball team that is based in Oakland, California.  The Athletics play all of their home games at O.co Coliseum.  They share this stadium with the Oakland Raiders.  The Raiders are the professional football team that is based in Oakland.  The Athletics have won 9 World Series.  They didn't always play in Oakland.  They were founded in 1901 as the Philadelphia Athletics.  They played in Philadelphia until 1955, when they became the Kansas City Athletics.  Then in 1968, they moved to Oakland.  Currently, their mascot is an elephant.  Their team colors are green, gold, and white.  The Athletics have retired a few numbers.  These numbers are 9, 24, 27, 34, 43, and 42.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Oakland Athletics.

San Francisco Giants

  Today my blog is going to be about the San Francisco Giants.  The Giants are a professional baseball team located in San Francisco, California.  They play all of their home games at AT&T Park.  They also are members of the National League.  The Giants didn't always play in San Francisco.  They were originally established in New York.  They then moved to San Francisco in 1958.  The Giants have won 3 World Series.  The most recent time that the Giants won a World Series was in 2014.  The Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals in four games.  The Giants have retired many numbers.  The numbers retired are 3, 4, 11, 20, 24, 27, 30, 36, 42,and 44. Oakland Raiders

  Today, my blog is going to be about the Oakland Raiders.  The Raiders are a professional football team that is based in Oakland,California.  They play all of their home games at O.co coliseum.  The Raiders play in the same stadium as the local professional baseball team, Oakland Athletics.  When the Raiders play, you could see the baseball diamond on the field.  The last few seasons haven't been very successful for the Raiders.  They haven't made the playoffs lately.  This last April, the Raiders picked Amari Cooper in the NFL Draft.  Amari is a young and talented wide reciever.  He definitely was a great addition to the roster.  Currently, the Raiders starting quarterback is Derek Carr.  Another great player that the Raiders have is Khalil Mack.  Khalil is a very strong defensive end.  He is a monster on the football field.  Hopefully, the Raiders will be successful this season.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Oakland Raiders.

San Diego Chargers

Today, my blog is going to be about the San Diego Chargers.  The Chargers are a professional football team that is based in San Diego, California.  They play all of their home games at Qualcomm Stadium.  The Chargers didn't always play in San Diego.  They used to play in Los Angeles, California.  They then moved to San Diego in 1961.  Last week, the Chargers applied to move back to Los Angeles.  Today, my blog is going to be about the Los Angeles Dodgers.  The Dodgers are our local professional baseball team.  The Dodgers didn't always play in Los Angeles.  They were established in Brooklyn, in 1883.  The Dodgers then moved to Los Angeles in 1958.  Currently, the Dodgers play all of their home games at Dodger Stadium.  The Dodgers have won 6 World Series .  They have also had many of their players inducted into the Hall of Fame.  The names of the players that are in the Hall of Fame are Walter Alston, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, Tommy Lasorda, Don Sutton, Joe Torre, Hoyt Wilhelmw, Eddie Murray, Walter O'Malley, Frank Robinson, Greg Maddux, Juan Marichal, Pedro Martinez, Rickey Henderson, Jim Bunning, and Gary Carter.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles Dodgers.

San Francisco 49ers

Today, my blog is going to be about the San Francisco 49ers.  The 49ers are a professional football team that is based in San Francisco , CA.  The 49ers play their home games at Levi's Stadium.  They just recently moved from Candlestick Park to Levi's stadium.  The 49ers name is based on the gold rush in 1849, in San Francisco.  The 49ers were established in1946.  They have won 5 Super Bowls.  Currently, the 49ers have had 26 players and coaches elected into the Hall of Fame.  The names of the players and coaches are Eddie Debartolo Jr, Leo Nomellini, Joe Perry, Hugh Mcelhenny, Y.A. Tittle, John Henry Johnson, Bob St. Clair, Bill Walsh, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, Dave Wilcox, Steve Young, Fred Dean, Charlie Krueger, John Brodie, Dwight Clark, Jerry Rice, Tony and Vic Morabito, Roger Craig, R.C. Sacramento Kings

  Today , my blog is going to be about the Sacramento Kings.  The Sacramento Kings are based in Sacramento , California.  The Kings play all of their home games at Sleep Train Arena.  To this day,  the Sacramento Kings are the oldest franchise in Nba history.  The Kings didn't always play in Sacramento.  They originated in New York.  They were known as the Rochester Royals from 1945 to 1957 .  In 1957,  they moved from New York to Cincinnati.  Then in 1972, they relocated to Kansas City , Missouri.  Finally in 1985, they moved to Sacramento and were named the Sacramento Kings.  Currently their best player is Demarcus Cousins.  During the offseason,  Sactamento has picked up a few new players.  The names of the players are Marco Belinelli, Caron Butler, Willie Cauley-Stein, Seth Curry, Duje Dukan, Marshall Henderson, David Stockton, Eric Moreland, and Kosta Koufas.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Sacramento Kings.

Los Angeles Clippers

  Today my blog is going to be about the Los Angeles Clippers.  The Clippers are one of our local professional basketball teams.  The Clippers play all of their home games at Staples Center.  The Clippers weren't always called the Clippers.  They used to be called the Buffalo Braves.  They were founded in 1970.  Then, in 1978 the Braves moved to San Diego.  That was when they changed their name from Braves to Clippers.  In 1984, the Clippers finally moved to Los Angeles.  For the last few seasons, the Clippers have made it to the playoffs.  They didn't advance to the finals though.  This season, the Clippers added a few new players.  The names of the players are Paul Pierce, Lance Stephenson, Cole Aldrich, Chuck Hayes, Wesley Johnson,Luc Mbah a Moute, and Josh Smith.  Their head coach is Doc Rivers.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles Clippers.

Golden State Warriors

  Today my blog will be about the Golden State Warriors.  The Golden State Warriors are a professional basketball team located in Oakland, CA.  The Warriors play their home at Oracle Arena. The Warriors didn't always play in Oakland.  They played in Philadelphia from 1946 to 1962.  The Warriors have won four championships.  Last season, they won the championship against the Cleveland Cavaliers.  They won the series 4-2.  Last season, Stephen Curry won the MVP.  Stephen is known to be one of the best shooters in NBA history.  The Warriors have retired a few numbers.  These numbers are 13, 14,16, 17, 24, and 42.  Currently, the Warriors head coach is Steve Kerr.  This season, the Warriors have added a few new players.  The names of the players are Chris Babb, Ian Clark, Eddie Jarell, Kevon Looney, Tony Mitchell, Juwan Staten, and Jason Thompson.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Golden State Warriors.

Los Angeles Lakers

   Today my blog will be about the Los Angeles Lakers.  The Los Angeles Lakers are our local basketball team.  The Lakers play all of their home games at Staples Center.  The Lakers have won sixteen championships.  The Lakers didn't always play in Los Angeles.  The Lakers originally played in Minnesota.  The Lakers later moved to Los Angeles in 1960. The Lakers have had many NBA superstars play for them.  Currently, Kobe Bryant is their star player.  Last season, the Lakers didn't play very good.  Their record was only 21-61.  Kobe was hurt for most of the season and all of the other players weren't very good.  During the offseason, the Lakers picked up a couple of new players. The names of the players are D'angelo Russel, Roy Hibbert, Lou Williams, Anthony Brown, Larry Nance Jr, Robert Upshaw, Marcelo Huertas, Jonathan Holmes, and Michael Frazier 11.  Their coach is Byron Scott.  I hope you enjoyed my blog today about the Los Angeles Lakers.
